In this 109-square-meter apartment in Milan, located inside a 20th-century building, the minimalist home is refined and serene, yet full of character thanks to a careful curation of design icons and custom-made pieces. With the idea of discretion in mind, the owner was looking forward to modernize the space while respecting the building’s original 1920s architecture. With a warm and minimalist approach, the bedroom closet and the kitchen were completely renovated. Adding a travertine countertop, wall cabinets, and shutters that conceal the appliances. The white lacquered wooden hood is a contemporary reinterpretation of an antique fireplace.
