This early-1900s Milanese apartment, fully restored in 2024, occupies a typical historic building and benefits from double exposure and balconies. The project involved a complete architectural and interior overhaul, from spatial reconfiguration to bespoke furnishings and decoration. Home to a Paris-born, Milan-based multidisciplinary creative, the apartment was conceived with a sharp, deliberately cold attitude centered on steel and reflective surfaces, counterbalanced by a few carefully chosen classical pieces to subtly warm the atmosphere.

Given the compact scale of the apartment, the design prioritizes clarity and functionality. A color-block approach and a cocooning logic help neutralize the perception of size, while inbuilt furniture, lower-than-standard heights, and vertical emphasis enhance spatial depth. The material choice reinterprets and inverts the traditional vecchia Milano aesthetic, resulting in a decadent, cinematic mood reminiscent of a Pasolini interior filtered through a contemporary lens.
