For this Milan Fashion Week, Loro Piana embraced the metaphor of the kiosk to explore a communal and genuinely experiential dimension of luxury. The display space at Via dei Giardini became a small post office, inspired by a vacation through Italy’s most iconic landscapes. Passersby could send illustrated postcards featuring five Italian regions.
The strong community-oriented concept of the kiosk, along with the spontaneity and delicacy involved in gathering flowers, brought back to the forefront a perhaps forgotten idea in Loro Piana’s narrative: luxury can exist beyond fashion and often lives in inherently spontaneous gestures, far removed from the frenzy that typically dictates the pace of our daily lives.
