In progress
Located in Antwerp, this historic villa — protected by the city’s heritage department — has undergone a complete interior renovation across five floors. The residence, characterized by its narrow footprint and vertical development, opens through a traditional entrance hall that filters the transition between city and home. The project was designed to accommodate the family of a renowned designer, blending preservation and renewal. The original façade, staircase, and decorative elements have been carefully maintained, while the interiors were reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. The generous living room, defined by high marble skirting, extends toward a bright kitchen with a skylight and wide windows framing the vast rear garden. The upper floors host the family’s private quarters, including a master suite and additional rooms distributed throughout the villa.
