In Berlin’s Mitte district, we unveil our latest project: an interior landscape within the new Herzog & de Meuron – designed urban development AM TACHELES. The creative format ‘Rooms of AM TACHELES,’ led by creative director Garth Roberts, brings international designers together to reimagine luxury living through immersive, design-driven interiors that merge art, design, and architecture. Through soft brutalism, we reshape domestic space with an expressive, tactile approach in one residence.
In the Frame building, concrete walls, characteristic of Herzog & de Meuron’s architecture, provided the raw canvas for our interventions. The interior pays tribute to Berlin’s industrial roots through raw materials like iron, aluminum and metals softened with supple Italian leather, pony fur, and canvas, featuring kilim rugs in ebony color, courtesy of CC-Tapis. Dark tonal palettes and subtlebrown, black, and metal variations unify the space, adding depth to the interior’s atmosphere.
